We use your information solely to provide the FamilyRoots service — storing your family trees, enabling sharing with family members, and authenticating your account.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Photos are stored as compressed data within your tree records.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication and data storage
• Google AdSense — To display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings.
• Vercel — Hosting

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication. Google AdSense may set additional cookies for ad personalization.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required to provide the service (Firebase, AdSense) or comply with legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by deleting your family trees and contacting us for account removal.
